Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Vertex CIO Advisory, LLC handles information when you visit vertexcio.com, request a resource, contact us, or schedule a conversation. It applies to this website, not to client engagement data governed by a separate agreement.
If you have a live transaction, do not submit target names, credentials, sensitive records, or confidential deal materials through a website form. We will agree on an appropriate channel if an engagement calls for that information.
Information we receive
When you request the sample diligence PDF or the IT diligence document-request list, we ask for your name, business email, and company or sponsor. The optional checkbox records whether you want future insights. When you email us or schedule a call, we receive the information you choose to provide and scheduling details handled by Calendly.
The site also receives technical and usage information such as pages visited, referral information, browser/device details, and approximate location derived from network data. Analytics and advertising measurement tools may use cookies or similar technologies; our site loads Google Analytics, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Cloudflare Web Analytics.
How we use it
- To deliver a requested resource, respond to an inquiry, or arrange a conversation.
- To understand site performance, diagnose abuse or technical problems, and improve the website.
- To send future Vertex CIO insights only when you select the optional checkbox or otherwise request them. Requesting a resource alone does not enroll you.
- To maintain records needed for business operations, security, and applicable legal obligations.
The checklist resource is provided in the browser after the form succeeds; it does not trigger a visitor email. The sample-deliverable request sends a PDF link to the business email you provide. Both forms generate an internal request notification.
Website form requests are handled through that internal email workflow. We do not automatically copy them into a CRM or mailing platform.
Service providers and other disclosures
We use service providers to host the site, send transactional email, schedule meetings, and measure site use. These include Cloudflare, Resend, Calendly, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn where their services are used on the site. They may process information under their own applicable policies and service terms. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect the site and our rights.
We do not treat the optional future-insights checkbox as consent for anything beyond Vertex CIO insights. This notice does not claim that analytics providers receive no website information.
Retention and security
We keep inquiries and related business correspondence for as long as needed to respond, manage a relationship, maintain reasonable business records, or meet legal obligations. Analytics and service providers may apply their own retention settings. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices
You can decline the optional future-insights checkbox. If you receive an insights email, you may ask us to stop sending them. You can also use browser controls to limit cookies or tracking, though some website features may work differently. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or other controls over personal information, subject to applicable exceptions.
Contact and changes
For a privacy question or request, email [email protected] and include enough information for us to identify the relevant request without sending sensitive records by email. We may update this notice as our practices change; the effective date above will identify the current version.
